Losers Lounge Hit Me With A Flower ~ They're So Viscious

Losers Lounge kicks ass. If you are in NYC and looking for the best live music show,  it happens four times a year at Joe's Pub.  I attended the Lou Reed Velvet Underground tribute on Thursday and Friday. Took many photos. Admission is $8 and that includes a free drink. I promise a good time or I'll eat my straw hat.

Time Out Magazine says, "Stoops to Nuts," is a smashing experience not to be missed. No they didn't, but they do say it's a cool thing to do.

Surgery went well yesterday, with discipline and good luck I'll be throwing a football by the 4th of July. I love catch.

Light plays tricks. Depending on the type of illumination and shade in play everything is subject to magic. I took a walk at sunset through the West Village, here are the pictures.

Storytelling like light is subject to magic. Tonight, in an intimate cabaret beneath the Cornelia Street Cafe walk down the stairs to the "City Stories: Stoops to Nuts" performance with worrisome things on your mind, but once the tales and songs begin you are elsewhere. Briefly bewitched, away from your world in the teller's place, in the musician's experience, a 90 minute journey. April's artists: Slash Coleman, Kurt Gertsmann, Dave Lester, Sherryl Marshall, Susan Neuffer & Thomas Pryor. Admission is $7 and that includes one free drink. Show starts @ 6pm.
