Yorkville 1966 & Yorkville 2021 (s/w cor. York Ave. & 85th St.) the front of Loftus Tavern and the second photo is Bailey's Corner today on the same corner. Bailey's is a tavern that welcomes strangers & friends warmly. As did Jack Loftus in my youth. Jack would be proud of Shawn the owner. He's a good egg. Bailey's is a must stop if you are passing through Yorkville or looking for a glimpse into a part of the old New York neighborhood.
