In 2012 there was an conceptual art exhibit at Columbus Circle by the Japanese artist, Tatzu Nishi. He designed a living room around the statue of Christopher Columbus six stories above street level. This was my view.
It was a windy cold night, swirling clouds trapped the city lights and turned the sky surreal. Here's the
NYTimes article on the exhibit from 2012.I love to squint my eyes and take in the colors on a night like this.
