The City View From Columbus's Feet

Looking north up Broadway & CPW Nov 2012
In 2012 there was an conceptual art exhibit at Columbus Circle by the Japanese artist, Tatzu Nishi. He designed a living room around the statue of Christopher Columbus six stories above street level. This was my view.

It was a windy cold night, swirling clouds trapped the city lights and turned the sky surreal. Here's the NYTimes article on the exhibit from 2012.

I love to squint my eyes and take in the colors on a night like this.
