Unbelievable - great pics - I grew up in Yorkville. Last graduating class from PS77. I remember Sanita Hills - I was in troop 630. I lived up on 2nd ave. & 88th. I lost all of my old photos from the neighborhood in a fire many years ago. I remember Carl Schulz park (or however they spell in now:-) )Great stuff. Brings back alot of GREAT memories. Thanks so much.

Great Photo's. Takes me back to my days at John Jay Park. Lived on 75th & York Ave. Know the Chapmans very well. It's a pleasure to know someone from the neighborhood who has taken a wonderful interest in the beauty of N.Y.C. Thank You.

Doris Perrault (Harp)...grew up in Yorkville at 444 E 81st St. Went to St. Stephens from 1st to 8th grades. Loved it there, sorry I left. I grew up in the 40' & 50's and went on to Cathedral (Catholic) HS at 50th St & Lex. Ave. Carl Schurtz park was the greatest and had so much fun there.
Still keep in touch with a couple friends from the old days. One of them (Charlie Liska) forwarded me this web site. I will forward it to two others, one who will enjoy seeing the bldg her grandfather owned at 84th & York. I have a slew of old photos. My three siblings were over 10 yrs older so the pix go way back.
