The Boy in the Bubble

On the Yorkville radio show last night, I visited the 500 block on East 83rd Street with my guest, Woody Salvan. I thank Woody, Esquire, Land Baron & River Man, for helping me bridge life on that rich block from 1957 to the present. You can listen to the show at the Centanni Broadcasting Network link, then go to the "Yorkville: Stoops to Nuts," archive.

This afternoon I passed through Central Park and met the Bubble Man. He entertained children of all ages with mammoth works of art that floated for seconds then disappeared forever. Like studying a butterfly who rests briefly on your arm. Hope the Bubble Man comes back.
