OK Tom this is getting scary! I actually lived at 1616 York Apt #3 from `89 to `98 on the first floor! It was the southside studio apartment facing York Ave. It could have been the SAME place you guys had! I know the building had been owned since the early 50s by family named, Abelson and they'd heavily renovated it in the late 60s wt a new white brick facade.-Mad Dog
It was the first floor southside apartment. The Ryans, Mom' family, lived there from 1943 to 1967, when Abelson split the railroad apts into two.
