Attended Zack's writing group tonight. Heard excellent new writers read their work. We wrote on the West 79th Street roof. These photos were taken on the roof or on my walk to the meeting.
My husband and I were just saying yesterday that our next apartment needs to allow roof access. This post confirms what we've suspected--we are deprived!
Agreed, I felt deprived leaving the building last night. I can't imagine how pleasurable it'd be to have that opportunity at will, scope the city and watch the sky and buildings put on a different crayola show every day and night.
