Losers Lounge Lou Reed Tribute ~ East Side Story ~ a NYPL Oral History Project

Great show last night, The Losers Lounge tribute to Lou Reed at Joe's Pub. Losers, the once and future champ bang for your buck in NYC entertainment. They always leave you smiling. Even Lou smiled last night. And ask Laurie, he hardly ever smiles. Even on his birthday.

Here are more photos.

Starting March 30th, I'm working with the New York Public Library's Neighborhood Oral History Project, "Upper East Side Story." Details on this project in the next few days. If you lived on the East Side between 59th St. & 96th St. for 25 or more years (the longer the better) and you would like me to interview you about your history in the neighborhood, please email me at tommy.pryor@gmail.com. An easy conversation where I listen to you talk about where you came from. Your recollections will become part of the permanent record at NYPL, available for the public to hear.
