Making Movies on 84th Street ~ Book Launch Tonight

Near dinnertime, rushing the stroller up 84th St. towards York, the mother tries to remember if the can of wax beans is still behind the box of Ronzoni elbows or did they eat it last week? She’s not in the mood for a Parker’s Grocery stop to listen to Murray’s stupid jokes. It's ten to six. The kid in the buggy looks up at the side of the buildings and sees a movie playing in the windows. He's three and he loves this block.

Tonight, Fri, May 3 @ 6pm @ Cornelia Street Cafe, Three Rooms Press's HAVE A NYC 2: NEW YORK STORIES BOOK LAUNCH. Please come down, help us celebrate the book's release and hear NYC 2's contributing writers read their New York City tales. I’ll tell mine, “Over Her Dead Body.” $8 admission includes a free drink.
