Madison Square - Under the Influence

Walking through the Madison Square and Flatiron neighborhoods in sandals and a tee shirt on a December night, very strange indeed. Freaky warm weather did not stop the holiday lights from performing their civic duties. Saw a soldier watching over a tree lighting ceremony; an insurance building reflected off glass on south side of 23rd Street; the Flatiron building dividing the roadbeds of Fifth Avenue and Broadway; a crowd under a canopy of lights from the surrounding office windows; and time screened at twilight.
