Nature Has No Memory

Nature has no memory, it gets on with it. Trees bend, sometimes they break; water lies still, it also roars, people live a long time, sometimes they don't.
Monday night was scary, Tuesday was blustery, Wednesday was assessment walkabout time. Here are a few photos from the past three days. It was an awesome display putting many things in perspective.

Oh no, it looks like my favorite park has taken a beating again and the tree at the top of the sledding hill in Carl Schurz Park has fallen! I'll bet I'm not the only one who remembers the suicide sled runs down that short hill. I wasn't very good at avoiding that fence.

Rosanna, considering the storm's stngth the park did pretty good, only a few trees down but might be more after assessment.
