Wow....very cool to read about my mom in your story. She would be very proud of you and thanks for thinking of her and for including her in you writings. She loved sitting at that kitchen window (with our dog Muffin) and watch all the kids on 83rd. (It always made me feel safe knowing she was there.) By the way, I was friends with Mr.Moylen's daughter and when he fell alseep, Mary, Normajean and I would get the balls back! We never had to buy our Spauldeens thanks to all you olders guys! :)
